Omni Taxi Aereo aircraft incident near Cabo Frio, Brazil

Omni confirms that all six passengers and two crew members involved in the water landing of an Airbus H-160 helicopter yesterday have already been discharged from the hospital following preventive medical evaluations and are all in good health.

Omni expresses its sincere thanks to the Brazilian Navy for the prompt and professional support in the search and rescue, as well as to all parties involved in the successful operation.

With everyone safely released, the situation is now fully under control. Omni will continue to cooperate with the relevant authorities as part of standard follow-up procedures.

Omni Táxi Aéreo confirms that one of its aircraft (Airbus H-160), which departed from Cabo Frio Airport, performed a water landing today, at approximately 11:00 AM (local time) this January 2nd. All occupants evacuated the aircraft using the onboard life-saving equipment and, following the immediate activation of emergency response teams and relevant authorities, the company confirms that everyone was successfully rescued and is safe. No injuries were reported.

At this time, passengers and crew are undergoing routine preventive medical evaluations and are expected to be released shortly.

The safety and well-being of everyone on board remains our top priority. Omni continues to provide full support to those involved and is coordinating closely with authorities to establish the circumstances of the occurrence.

Omni Táxi Aéreo confirms that one of its aircraft, which departed from Cabo Frio Airport, performed a water landing at approximately 11:00 AM (local time) today (02). All eight occupants evacuated the aircraft and used the onboard inflatable life raft.

Emergency teams and relevant agencies were immediately notified and the rescue procedure was initiated. The safety and well-being of everyone on board are our top priority.

We are providing support to the occupants and coordinating actions closely with the authorities to establish the circumstances of the occurrence.
