Omni receives an award on Safety by Total E&P

Omni Táxi Aéreo (OTA) was recognized by its Safety with the Total Commitment Award, recently promoted by Total E&P. The award ceremony took place during Total's World Safety Day with the Omni team at Jacarepaguá Airport, in Brazil. This event occurs in all Total subsidiaries, with more than 130 countries carrying out special safety-related activities.
OTA’s CEO, Captain Roberto Coimbra, received the award on behalf of the Company. Omni has been recognized for its contribution on maintaining policies and best safety practices in daily operations.
According to Captain Kleber Rangel, from the company’s Flight Safety Department, receiving this award represents Omni's commitment to continually improving operational safety and developing safe practices to meet the operational needs and specificities of our customers. "This recognition from an important customer demonstrates the high level of maturity of our company's Operational Safety Management System."
Total E&P operates in the exploration and production of Oil & Gas in Brazil. It sells 24 thousand tons of lubricants per year and has a broad portfolio of activities in the country, including 15 exploration blocks, focusing on deep water. Omni Táxi Aéreo supports Total operations at the Jacarepaguá base in Rio de Janeiro, transporting an average of 560 employees monthly on daily flights to the Lapa field, in the Pre-salt. The Omni and Total partnership also extends to the care of aero-medical emergencies (MEDVAC).
